After World War II, the need of rebuilding allowed the founder, Mr. Nello Macchiarini, to start the production of chips and marble powders, to be used for the manufacture of tiles, plasters, flooring, etc.

 
 

In a short period of time, the market achieved a national expansion and the commercial demand was so strong as to suggest the search for a new production site; this site was selected where our company still lies.

The subsequent internationalization, together with an instinctive marketing activity, made possible conceiving further kinds of packing that made our products more attractive abroad as well.

 
 

Over the 70s, the market became more hard to please and started asking for more valuable products (pebbles)

 
 

We have been picking up pebbles from the river until, in 1980, a machinery, fit for manufacturing them artificially, was conceived; in 1980, we started the manual picking only for pebbles having a size over 10 cm.

  • its company’s capital is € 619.749,00
  • exports mainly to Europe and North Africa.

Owing to the increasing market demand, we have found commercial partners among former competitors and forwarding agents.
